Charles Mourier

Equine Portfolio Manager

Charles Mourier brings a rare combination of lifelong horsemanship and institutional financial training to his role as Equine Portfolio Manager. Raised in a racing family and immersed in the sport from an early age, he developed practical judgment and an instinctive eye for young horses long before formalizing his expertise in finance. Splitting his upbringing between France and the United States, he became an accomplished rider and pony racing champion, with wins in leading junior steeplechase events including the Junior Maryland Hunt Cup and the U.S. Grand National.

Charles has spent much of his life working alongside trainers, consignors, and bloodstock agents across Europe and the United States, including hands‑on experience preparing horses for major auctions with a leading U.S. consignor. He complements this background with CFA credentials and professional experience in investment research, corporate strategy, and M&A. In his current role, he applies disciplined financial analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management to thoroughbred investment—translating lived horsemanship into a scalable, data‑driven approach across global markets.

In addition to our core team, we draw on a trusted network of elite professionals—trainers, jockeys, and bloodstock researchers—recognized for their work with leading racing stables and international champions. These relationships provide access to insights, data, and opportunities that strengthen our ability to source and develop high-value assets.
